Intermediate Acting Class - (IA)

Service Description

Designed for mature students Virtual classes meet weekly via ZOOM (waiting list only) Mon @7pm or Tues @5pm for 1 hr 30 mins/class. This course is intended for students who have completed the Intro to Acting class or who have previous acting experience. The Intermediate Acting class enhances the skills and preparedness of working actors in the industry. Students in this course will gain a deeper and more fine-tuned understanding of the audition process. Actors learn to break down and analyze scripts through enhanced character development. CLASS AGENDA: Mind/Body/Spirit Exercises -- Memorization -- Improvisation/Imagination -- Teamwork -- Facial Expressions (happiness, anger, sadness, fear, surprise, etc.) -- Intention/Subtexting -- Affective Memory/Emotional Recall -- Voice Dynamics (pitch, volume, stress, rhythm, enunciation, pronunciation, projection) -- Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication -- Script Analysis and Audition preparation and techniques Students receive training from IronE Singleton and/or special guest instructors, will have an opportunity to showcase their talent in a production/showcase (fee applies) and have the opportunity to audition for future productions.

Cancellation Policy

REFUND POLICY: ------------------------------------------------ ACTING CLASSES/WORKSHOPS/PRIVATE COACHING: All classes/workshops/session bundles are subject to a canceled reservation fee of 50% of total payment (less the cost of any services rendered) if canceled at least 5 days prior to the class/workshop/session bundle start date. A refund will be processed within 5 to 7 business days after receipt of a written withdrawal request. Withdrawal requests must be emailed to info@ironeproductions.com. Classes and private coaching sessions are eligible for rescheduling if requested at least 24 hours prior to the session start time. All rescheduled classes must take place within 6 days of the original scheduled session date/time or the class session will be forfeited. ------------------------------------------------ AUDIO/VIDEO SERVICES: Sessions must be paid in advance and are non-refundable. Clients may cancel and reschedule their session at least 24 hours in advance of their scheduled time. If rescheduling is not possible at the time of cancellation, a credit will be applied to the client's account to use within 1 year of cancellation. To cancel an audio/video session, clients must email their written cancellation request to info@ironeproductions.com. ------------------------------------------------ PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS: In the event the client cancels the photography services, newNsight Photography will retain the reservation deposit (50% of total service fee) for liquidated damages. newNsight Photography agrees to refund all additional paid money if any. A refund will be processed within 5 to 7 business days after receipt of written cancelation request.
