ABOUT the coach

Passionate About Inspiring Others...

IronE's unusual name depicts his life story, his ability to play strong, multidimensional characters and has made him a memorable actor in both film and television.

IronE Singleton

Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, IronE's story embodies everything we have come to understand about the lives of many inner-city youth growing up in low-income housing projects. Fatherless and having lost his mother to HIV/AIDS when he was a senior in high school and watched his brother spend most of his life in Georgia’s penal system, IronE fought to have a life far different from the one he knew growing up.

The “irony” of his story is that, while all the odds were stacked against him, IronE Singleton still overcame his troubled childhood to attend the University of Georgia (UGA) on academic and football scholarships where he completed a double major in Theatre and Speech Communications and served as president of the Black Theatrical Ensemble. IronE went on to serve for many years as an Emcee/crowd entertainer, working with large scale events such as the Essence Music Festival, NASCAR, The Atlanta Braves, The Atlanta Hawks, The Little League World Series, to name a few, becoming a consummate inspirational and motivational speaker. IronE has captivated audiences of all ages, small and large with his message of truth and love.  His speaking engagements have ranged from venues both private and public and have included public schools, churches, conventions, universities and more.  With over 20 years acting experience in film, tv and theatre productions, IronE has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with clients/students of ISA.

Prior to breaking into film and television, in addition to his participation in many stage productions, IronE wrote, directed and starred in his first feature-length indie comedy, "White Man Black Man Jew Man" as well as his critically acclaimed one-man stage production, “IronE . . . The Resurrected”, now entitled "Blindsided by the Walking Dead" which has garnered rave reviews. IronE has had many notable projects to follow, including completion/publication of an autobiography, "Blindsided by the Walking Dead", production of his first album Hip-Hopcrisy and single entitled "We Are the Walking Dead". In addition, he has participated in live broadcasts with an endless list of major radio stations throughout the world.
