Service Description

Designed for readers ages 7 to 12 (& teens**) Virtual classes meet weekly via ZOOM (waiting list only) Mon at 5pm for 1 hr 30 mins/class. This course is intended for students who have completed the Intro to Acting class or who have previous acting experience. The Kids Intermediate Acting class enhances the skills and preparedness of working actors in the industry. Students in this course will gain a deeper and more fine-tuned understanding of the audition process. Actors learn to break down and analyze scripts through enhanced character development. CLASS AGENDA: Mind/Body/Spirit Exercises -- Memorization -- Improvisation/Imagination -- Teamwork -- Facial Expressions (happiness, anger, sadness, fear, surprise, etc.) -- Intention/Subtexting -- Affective Memory/Emotional Recall -- Voice Dynamics (pitch, volume, stress, rhythm, enunciation, pronunciation, projection) -- Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication Students receive training from IronE Singleton and/or
